We need to stop letting these people into our country. Time to start treating being in Canada like a privilege not a right.

Let’s make bets what his sentence will be. I say 1 year in prison and 1 year probation.

Okay now filter for hate crimes committed by born and raised Canadian men. Too many for a clickbait title.

  4. >He entered the plea in Manhattan federal court over 18 months after he was brought to the United States from Canada, where he was arrested on Sept. 4, 2024

„…he was going to cross the border from Canada to the United States in September 2024 with “the intention of killing Jewish people in Brooklyn.”

He said he now regrets his plan, which included renting a space next to the Jewish center.

“I was not raised this way,” Khan said, adding that what he planned to do was wrong.

Seems like he was arrested in Canada and brought to an American court, thankfully that means he might actually be punished. And only seems sorry for planning this after he got caught.

    >He was granted a student visa in Canada in May 2023 and arrived in Toronto in June of that year

…he began posting about his support for the Islamic State group in November 2023

he was arrested on Sept. 4, 2024

5 months after he arrived, 1 month after Oct 7th attack, he started supporting ISIS. And 15 months after he arrived he was arrested for plotting a terrorist attack. We need to do better background checks on people we bring in.

  5. The student visa program is broken. You don’t have to submit security clearance like people coming on PR express entry have to. And It’ll be interesting to see where he was radicalized.

Deport or let the American prison system deal with him. He’ll be out on bail here then become undocumented

Canada should ask for extradition so that some activists judge can release him since he realized his mistake and pleaded guilty. Also, Give him pr for all the troubles.

  8. Tighten the Visas and immigration! Shut down the TFW program and maybe just maybe even screen some of these ‚people‘ before opening the flood gates?

Well at least he’s in the US, which means he’ll actually receive punishment for his crime. The judges here would probably let him out because he had a „hard life“ in Pakistan or something.
