What gets me isn’t that Oracle cut jobs —companies restructure, that’s reality. It’s the 6am email. No call, no heads up, just „today is your last day“ and your access is gone before you’ve had your coffee.
They posted a 95% jump in net income last quarter. This wasn’t a company fighting to survive. They just didn’t think 30,000 people were worth an actual conversation.
I honestly hope all these big tech companies crash and burn with all this gambling on AI
AI is taking our jobs. Build that firewall. And make Oracle pay for it.
