Well, I think Japan needs more workers in low pay jobs like farm, retail, nursing, factory, etc… not more nan bread or Chinese food. Not defending them but yeah I won’t miss that.

I seen 5 of them in the middle of nowhere… No customer at all .. swapping owners ever 4 years… It’s time they go.

  3. I’m concerned about the loss of “ethnic supermarkets” – fucked if I’m going to Kaldi for an overpriced / underspiced inferior version.

  4. I’m going to be super pissed if my favorite curry shop closes because of this.

In fact, I’m going to go there more often now just in case.

  5. That’s not a good new at all

Japan need more than ever outsider but they keep rejecting them over and over, this will seriously hit their country in the near future.

This is good for me. I don’t go to these restaurants. I live near a Chinatown and when I go pass there late at night or early morning, I see roaches and rats all the time. When you look inside of the kitchen though the backdoor, I see gross things. They do not look hygienic at all.

Also, the closest Indian(Nepal I think) restaurant, they always have like 5-6 teenagers hanging round very late around midnight and making loud noises.

I doubt it. If they cannot afford 30 million jpy of capital and hire at least one resident they should close. Otherwise. Just disruptive and minus contribution to society.

I’m so very sad about this. There is so much good Nepalese food in Japan. I’m afraid about my favorites disappearing. 😭

  9. Pretty sad, I understand border enforcement and cracking down on illegal migration but these are all vetted, contributing members of the community who have opened businesses pay taxes and they change the rules because a few mainlanders taking advantage of the system and fraud.
