Ford is gettable right now, he is. This feels similar to Legault where he was tolerated for a while and then bottom dropped out. For Ford, its all waiting for when it will, since it is coming. Opposition has to be strong, however there will be something even the 905 base wont like or forgive him for and thats when hes toast. If til then he will still be in power.

  2. Last fall, the ONDP ousted the caucus chief of staff and principal secretary, and the party’s provincial director. Since then, Marit has been more aggressive and they’re putting out more engaging social media content. I wonder if this is just a blip or actual movement at least in part because of those changes.

  3. A polling slump for Ford seems inevitable at this point. He’s maneuvered his way pas them before, but I think a decade in power without any significant policy accomplishments will galvanize voters desire for something better. Though to be honest, that probably doesn’t matter to Ford since he’s probably going to retire in 2028-2029 prior to an election as the most successful PC premier/party leader since Bill Davis. Any of the unpopularity that the PC’s face in the next election will likely be Ford’s successors problem.

To me this reads like polling where ford will retire and resign around 2028 and make some poor bastard pick up the burning reigns
