  1. Lmao what a mess.

TACO’d for some quick market manipulation and he couldn’t even make it a day. Well onto the next TACO.

I went to bed last night thinking since none of the warring parties had any credibility, how long could the ceasefire last anyways? Apparently not very long.

Iran’s parliamentary speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf accused the U.S. on Wednesday of violating the two-week ceasefire agreement.

“The deep historical distrust we hold toward the United States stems from its repeated violations of all forms of commitments — a pattern that has regrettably been repeated once again,” Ghalibaf said in a statement posted on social media.

This was expected. The markets were manipulated. Now it’s back to business as usual. Someone told Trump it looked bad and Pino Pete wants a holy war

India was telling our people to get out of the region as soon as possible – my dad was commenting it sounded a bit weird since a ceasefire was announced and there were talks on. Guess the governments do know this wasn’t going to work out

USA and Iran have seemingly Forgot the true ringleaders in this Israel. Lets not forget Israel have a vested interest in keeping the USA in this war as if nothing else it serves as protection from any major reprisals.

I would not be surprised if down the road it is revealed that Israel had provided Trump with Financial incentives to start it but he has decided it’s now not worth the risk and the breaking of the ceasefire is a last ditch attempt to prevent a USA pull out.

  7. I feel like the intent of the ceasefire was to save face on Trump’s failed ultimatum. Now they can point fingers and keep on bombing. Glad Trump didn’t follow through with his nuclear threat, but still concerned that most of his insane ideas are testing waters and softening the shock when he does them down the road. We need to pull the rug on this administration asap.

One of the only things about this I can find humor in is the collective shuffling of the party of „No new wars“ as they instantly shift from being proud of their dear leader’s negotiation skills to foaming at the mouth and calling for the complete destruction of Iran. They were JUST patting themselves on the back for this „ceasefire“ acting like this was all according to plan. Now they’ll go back to being genocidal.

Fellas is it wrong to want all the maga people to go start their own country 15k miles away from the US?

Nex round. Let me guess. Trump now says they have two weeks, another primetime deadline, directly threatens nukes this time, and then another last minute „agreement“ to fix the markets.

After 1.5 years of this reality TV shitshow, I want 4 years of Joe Biden back.

It is truely sad that the Iranian government is more trustworthy than the US

I don’t think the regime are good people – but if I were Iran, Trump is inherently untrustworthy and I’d refuse to negotiate with him.

Which one? Depending on who you ask and when, there are like 12 of them floating around.

Who could have guessed this would turn into a clusterfuck? /s

The ceasefire was completely fake. I t was an excuse to give Trump an out from following through on his empty threats without embarrassing himself (which was an utter failure), and gave him an opportunity to do what he really wants to do in manipulating the markets so his insiders can make a quick 9-figure payday.

  17. drksolrsing on

Trump is used to getting his way. International powers don’t play „take-backsies“ like all his yes-men do.

  18. Brother isn’t that from today? God it’s like he’s trying to make America untrustworthy.

“U.S. oil prices were down more than 15% near $95 per barrel by 2:59 p.m. ET even as the fragile ceasefire agreement appeared at risk of unravelling.”

Trump and his cronies are buying oil stocks at this artificial low point. Breaking the ceasefire is part of the plan. Oil prices will surge, Trump will sell high and make a fortune. It’s Trump’s modus operandi. He isn’t president because he cares about this country. He’s president because he can influence the US and world economies to make a fortune.

We have officially hit the point, that you can’t guarantee anything our government says for greater than 24 hours at a time.

    Nobody is steering this ship.

  21. Trump and hegseth are way in over their heads. They better hire back all the military people they fired.

  22. yngwiegiles on

Do we really think a guy who doesn’t pay his contractors and is willing to cheat in all scenarios to win is gonna honor a ceasefire?

If MAGA truly love the US right now then sign up and defend it. Prove it. Cowards.

How is it surprising that DJT isn’t done stealing the world’s gas money yet?

  25. Ok_Character_5532 on

I don’t even know what to say other than we should’ve never done this “operation” to begin with. None of the outcomes were/are favorable for us, and we’ve ultimately helped nobody in the region. We actually gave Iran more teeth and resentment than it had before the war. What a generational fuckup. I’ll always expect Iran to pull this type of shit, and for Trump to pull his own type of crazy, which is exactly why this has been such a massive failure and miscalculation

  26. RagnarStonefist on

Ok, how many Mooches did the ceasefire last? About a tenth of a Mooch, right?

  27. It sucks how articles publis more about how war affects oil prices and not the actual human cost. I think there would be less war if the news only concentrated on the human cost of war.

  28. Trump only agreed to it as oil prices were exploding and he needed a way to manipulate the market.

  29. That isn’t how any of this works. Accepting wholesale all of Irans 10 demands was NOT the basis of the Pakistan negotiated ceasefire: it was simply “no more bombs in either direction and strait opens for two weeks WHILE THOSE POINTS ARE NEGOTIATED”.

This isn’t on Trump. This is Iran trying to back out.
