Midterms are so important for the Epstein files because republicans control the committees and are blocking anything from ever becoming public.

So all Clinton had to say was “I’m not president any more” and he wouldn’t have had to testify. Right?

The Supreme Court just ruled that you can ignore Congressional subpoenas if you can even remotely claim executive privilege which, for some reason now, applies to anyone who has ever been part of the administration or even advisors.
That’s not how that works in any way shape or form
