Kind of unreal how the LPC talk and talk and talk both reconciliation and recognizing aboriginal rights and they straight up decline them when it doesn’t align with their “reconciliation”

Also good luck with reaching out to Idlout, that’s never gonna happen. They need to just go to court

Secretary of nature, probably just look at them in the eye and say “I’m not a polar bear or a walrus”

      >“designed to kill as many people as possible, as quickly as possible”

Yet, they are commonly issued to police as „patrol carbines“.

So, are they okay in the hands of responsible people, or do they cause indiscriminate mayhem?

    4. As noted in the article, a rifle is a patrol carbine when a police officer has it. It becomes an assault rifle if someone else picks it up. It’s difficult to discuss issues when this is the starting point.

    5. One again, the white man and his government can’t help but rule over the natives. The government is all talk, but as soon as it doesn’t fit their agenda, they walk all over the indigenous people like “we know best”. They can’t leave these poor people alone.

The fact that this program even still exists is mind blowing.

I keep seeing article after article now about how this program is a complete and total failure, something that we’ve been predicting this whole time and yet, they still cling to this tired, withered old issue like it’s even still worth something anymore.

There are reports out now that state this program has *already* cost taxpayers two billion dollars.

Two billion fucking dollars to fix a problem that doesn’t exist. Nobody wants anything to do with this. Almost the entire country has refused this program at the provincial level and not to mention the litany of police forces that noped the fuck out.

Good god. Scrap. This. Fucking. Crusade. It has overstayed its welcome by a considerable degree and no longer justifies its existence. The only people that still want this are groups that have made lifelong careers advocating for prohibition.
