It was discussed a lot here on Reddit. As for a political debate, there is not much to discuss. Nobody who likes to get any say in defence policies will suggest american weapon system for the next century. And what comes next is not yet decided, mainly because we have to see how the Ukraine and Iran wars develop. The only thing declared so far is that the army wants their own drone production.
