      It is becoming more and more obvious that he is in way over his head now.. the entire Iran conflict has implications far beyond the US, and when the oil reserves are dried up, that is when it is really going to hurt.

      I think Iran will keep the straight closed until the midterms, in order to make sure that his presidency have a great shot at ending early.

      He is not a ‚top dem‘. He is a strategist. The implication is that he is a high ranking democratic in office. He is not.

      Not sure I would call James Carville a „top dem“ in 2026… He’s a political consultant who hasn’t been an influential figure in decades and has never held elected office.

      I don’t say that to shit on him, I say that as a reminder that you shouldn’t expect rank and file Democratic members of Congress (let alone their shitty rudderless leadership) to be quite that blunt.

      Calling James Carville a „top dem“ in 2026 is ridiculous. Carville has been outside of the Democratic mainstream for close to 20 years and has had very little meaningful influence on Democratic politics since the 1990s.
