      I wonder what Japan could do to bolster its population to help solve for these problems relatively quickly? Such a conundrum.

      ditching domestic taxis for American waymos and Teslas is definitley the way to go. Great job Japan, and keep buying American!

      The current oil price and incoming inflation will certainly not help them

      They charge similar prices as other wealthy countries while paying the drivers half the amount, and making them work ungodly hours.

      Where is the money going? If the pay and conditions were fair I bet people would flock to driver jobs. Heck even I might.
