Trump will just claim that some super secret diplomatic understanding has been reached, details will be made available soon, maybe in a week or two… everyone seems to forget for 2 weeks, then we go through all of this again.

Trump is incapable of a peace agreement. Even if the stars aligned and both parties signed something, he wouldn’t be able to resist shit talking Iran with “tough man” or mocking language and then requiring regular bribes (extortion) from Iran to temporarily honor the deal he signed. No, I think we’re in Iran for the long haul and peace is only possible when Trump is gone.

To accept a ceasefire at this time, would likely be the same as giving US and Israel time to gather forces and material for an upcoming attack.
This is what happens when political extremism meets religious extremism, neither are going to yield and the world will ultimately pay because a few people can’t get along. I joked with my dad that we’ll see a $50 happy meal in our lifetime, but honestly this will ramp up inflation to degrees people don’t realize yet, the world is not in a good spot for as long as this carries on.

All negotiations with Trump are of the ‚take it or leave it‘ variety and are always backed up by threats. I have no desire to defend Iran and their bad behavior over the years, but they didn’t start this.
