I assume lifting the left side of the lever will do the trick?
Have you tried rotating it slightly in the clockwise direction?
Is there a release button on the back or underside of the handle/lever?
Do you live in my building?
Put your hand in the handle and pull up inside it. It’s a little sticky so apply a little force, like a jerk upwards. Once you have opened the right side the left side opens too.
You simply push the lever upwards on its left side. It then should give way and open. We had the same one at home.
You look at it with enough concentration and hope you have enough Chakra to make it open by itself
If this isn’t a shitpost, I am baffled how incompetent people can be.

No offense – but how can one look at that handle and get stuck there?
Just by looking at the picture – the handle can’t be turned so it basically leaves: Push/Pull, move the handle/bar horizontally to the left/right (would be a stupid way, but theoretically possible) or lift the left side.
You look basically at a bar of a gate or gravity latch – the bar can be lifted out of the notch by lifting the left side.
