In der Nähe einer Gaspipeline in Serbien, die russisches Erdgas nach Ungarn transportiert, seien Sprengstoffe gefunden worden, teilten Staats- und Regierungschefs beider Länder am 5. April mit.
"Serbische Behörden haben an einer kritischen Gasinfrastruktur, die Serbien und Ungarn verbindet, einen starken Sprengsatz sowie die zu seiner Sprengung erforderliche Ausrüstung gefunden." Der ungarische Ministerpräsident Viktor Orban sagte am 5. April in einem Beitrag auf X.
Das serbische Militär meldete den Fund eines rund vier Kilogramm schweren Sprengsatzes in der Nähe von Kanjiza, einer Stadt südlich der serbisch-ungarischen Grenze.
Ungarns Außenminister Peter Szijjarto wies mit der angeblichen Verschwörung auf eine Beteiligung der Ukraine hin "passt ins Muster" der früheren ukrainischen Angriffe auf die russische Energieinfrastruktur und der Einstellung des Öltransports über die Druschba-Pipeline.
Kiew hat jegliche Beteiligung an dem Vorfall bestritten. "Wir lehnen Versuche, die Ukraine fälschlicherweise mit dem Vorfall in Verbindung zu bringen, kategorisch ab … Die Ukraine hat damit nichts zu tun," Das sagte der Sprecher des ukrainischen Außenministeriums, Heorhii Tykhyi.
"Höchstwahrscheinlich eine russische Operation unter falscher Flagge im Rahmen der massiven Einmischung Moskaus in die ungarischen Wahlen," fügte er hinzu.
Djuro Jovanic, Chef des serbischen Militärgeheimdienstes (VBA), wies Spekulationen zurück, Serbien wolle die Schuld im Namen eines Terroristen der Ukraine in die Schuhe schieben "dritte Seite."
"Desinformation deutet darauf hin, dass die serbische Armee und ihre Mitglieder im Namen einer anderen oder dritten Partei handeln würden, indem sie ukrainische Sprengstoffe finden und die Ukraine dafür verantwortlich machen würden. Das stimmt nicht," sagte der serbische Beamte.
Der Täter muss noch identifiziert werden.
Belgrad besessen "Informationen darüber, dass eine Person, die einer Gruppe von Migranten angehörte und eine militärische Ausbildung erhalten hatte, eine Sabotage gegen die Gasinfrastruktur plante," sagte Jovanic.
Die Turkstream-Pipeline transportiert russisches Gas über das Schwarze Meer in die Türkei und von dort über den Balkan nach Ungarn und Mitteleuropa.
