How many times do we have to hear this story? It’s not happening. Especially coming from the Sun, it’s pure conjecture. Do we all want him gone? Absolutely, but the hold on the populace isn’t breaking any time soon.

Is the source of this astounding piece of wishful day-dreaming really The Sun?

Feels like the walls are closing in for him, could be a wild few months ahead

  5. This Iran fiasco has bought Putin more time. I don’t think this “one push” is coming soon.

    >Putin ‘one push’ away from being toppled

    1. Destroyed effective organized resistance in Russia.

    2. Consolidated power to the point he can kill anyone.

    3. Successfully brainwashed the population for almost three decades.

    4. Has his own private army that has remained largely untouched by the war.

    5. Is still being backed by two of the world’s 5 largest economies.

Yes it definitely sounds like someone nearing the end of their rule.  /s

I’m hoping there are some pretty strong checks & balances in place inside the Kremlin to prevent an embattled Putin from doing something irrational with his nuclear arsenal w/ the help of any loyalists in the upper echelons of their military.

Drowming rats trapped in a cage can be unpredictable. Just sayin‘.

  9. Mods can we please ban these types of stories…we’ve heard this one before and we’ve heard it again.

Im „a push“ away from getting lucky tonight…but sadly it isnt going to happen

It’s really sad that in 2026, most of us feel like we can’t trust the media. I hope this story is true, but I very much doubt it.

we’ve been a push away since the war was like half a year old, he’s not going anywhere in all likelihood

IIRC, some wonderful human being said in reference to Russia, „We have only to kick in the door and the whole rotten structure will come crashing down“.

I don’t remember. How did that work out for him? Something about lying in a comfy ditch, soaked in gasoline.

I despise Putler as much as the next non-insane human, but let’s not overstate this.

  13. In business, it is said that businesses go bankrupt very slowly, and then suddenly. Hopefully the same is true for Putin.

  14. I only know one thing about news based on the UK, and that is that The Sun is garbage. Nobody should be using them as a source of actual news.
