      Remember them old republican relatives that would talk about how Stalin and the Soviets would just “change history” and control what their people were allowed to see and how we must always fight communism so that America remains free?

      Lots of comments here about the US administration lying but this is a military matter. Same reason you can’t publish videos and footage from the ground in many areas. You can’t give battle damage assessment to the enemy. Sure orange man bad and the current admin is completely unhinged but you don’t want more US and allied service men/women dying do you? You don’t want more energy infrastructure being destroyed do you?

      At least the US is not killing reporters covering the war this time, unlike in the Iraq war, that’s something, I guess

      They’re basically restricting the media everywhere somehow. They keep downplaying events. Helicopter “damaged” when there just a smoking hole type things.

      Helps the press? because the Iranians wouldn’t look at such a thing? These people are idiots.. or manipulating. Iran’s using the publicly available Chinese satellites anyway. The idiot press can too.
