      Why so many in Canada? Also it would be interesting to see sub divisions. Here in Ohio Columbus has all of the states Muslims basically. There are like a billion trillion of them here.

      Ontario being higher than New Jersey and New York is a surprise to this American.

      Alberta is not something I expected. I get Quebec has a lot of immigration form former French colonies, but Alberta is like North Montana.

      This sub seems fixated on muslim population in non muslim countries. I am sure it is all for the love of information

      Wow……… glad I am not in Canada! Yet this, I am sure, refers more to urban areas and certainly not rural areas.

      I think some people are surprised that Toronto or New York or Ottawa have the highest percentage of Muslim population in North America.

      Because in people’s mind it’s Muslim=Middle Eastern/Arabs.

      When IMO just looking at all my colleagues and friends, it’s not. People tend to forget the 2nd largest Muslim country in the world, >!India!<.

      If your city has a lot of immigrant from there then by proportion alone, it would have also Muslims from there.
