    Unfortunately, any studio accountant will look at the numbers and decide that if they can reasonably shoot in England or Vancouver and not have to pay taxes in LA, why shouldn’t they shoot in those other locations?

    It’s sad. But that’s the world we’re facing.

    A pound of ground beef costs more than the federal minimum wage. Let it burn with us in the fire. Unless Hollywood wants to pool their money to help us.

    Congress accomplishing…anything? Seems like a real hard ask at the moment. I’d look for alternative solutions.

    sag could show solidarity and not take jobs out of the country. Sag holds every production hostage including indies. Above the line people make way too much money.

    Who knew letting PE buy up and consolidate all the studios would stifle creativity, jack prices up for everyone, and kill jobs.
