JD knows he is about to become maga road kill. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy…

It’s amazing watching these opportunists try to surf these waves. They have to spend all of their energy to stay standing.

That’s the job. It has absolutely nothing to do with service to the country. In fact, they will permanently damage the country to stay on top of that wave.

But the wave will crash. The wave crashes every single time.

You need principles in order to live a coherent life that has meaning and purpose.

Trump always finds a way to cut the legs out from under any competition or advancement of anyone else in the Republican party so they have no choice but to stick with him until the bitter end

  5. If you ever want proof we’ve been completely hijacked by Russians, our political appointees used to be called directors until Trump came along. Never heard anyone referred to as a Czar until the republicans started chugging Moscow dick.

Edit: I stand corrected! I guess I’d never been exposed to the word until these positions became so entrenched in the public spotlight.

There are no „czars“ in American government. These are fake titles. Tom Homan for example, has no say in DHS administration whatsoever. He’s a spokesman. Not sure why or what this has to do with VD Jance over here getting a fake additional job title but it’s all stupid.

    Impeach. Remove. Convict. Confine.

    The rest is window dressing.

Clearly calculated. Trump cannot fire Vance and he apparently has come to despise him, plus Trump cannot possibly stomach the idea of a successor because it would mean his time in the sun would end. So JD gets a job designed to make him as politically unpopular as possible.

Have Republicans figured out yet that Trump would rather burn the GOP and nation to ash than be replaced or retired?

  8. SwvellyBents on

Calling the guy that changes his name as often as he changes his underwear the ‚FRAUD CZAR‘ is strangely appropriate.

  9. ranchoparksteve on

JD would gladly accept being fired. Currently, he’s the one Republican who can’t separate from Trump for a 2028 run.

Jd Vance was bought by Elon musk and Peter theil and Trump is going to skewer Vance’s presidential chances just to piss them off, unless they pay him more money.

The biggest loser in all of this is the American people— will take decades to undo the damage to our global power and credibility

  11. NerdySongwriter on

This is great. Vance will be politically destroyed before he ever gets a chance to fulfill Theil’s desires.

  12. returnofthecursed on

Vance isn’t even his real name. Nothing about the man is genuine or honest. He is a lying tool.

  13. itsaconspiraci on

It’s like if Tiger Woods was driving and then put someone else in the driver’s seat at the crash. Trump needs his fall guy.

  14. nowhereman136 on

Fun fact: the President can not „fire“ the Vice President. At best, he could ask them to step down or push congress to impeach. The President can also tell his angry mob of cult followers to lynch the vice president, but that’s kind of a legal gray area too (apparently)

  15. Trump cant fire him. He was elected just like trump. The only way to remove him is impeachment.

  16. Czar is an excellent title, as we know what happened to the last one in Imperial Russia

  17. Tadpoleonicwars on

The president also claimed, without offering evidence, that the supposed amount of federal funds lost to fraud is “so large” that if Vance’s efforts are successful they would “literally” allow the U.S. to balance its’ budget, and said law enforcement agencies had already started “raids” in Los Angeles, the largest city in the largest state led by a Democratic governor and potential 2028 presidential candidate.“

… so if JD Vance is not able to balance the federal budget, he failed.

  18. Well the fraud is coming from inside the building. If he doesn’t find it I might not believe that’s really what he’s looking for.

  19. Risky-Poet759 on

JD’s personality is repulsive as desantis’! We all know how far Repugnant Ron got with his presidential run, let’s hope Vance meets the same demise.

  20. Responsible_Ladder25 on

Despite what the right propagandized, there was no Border Czar. The closest to it was Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas. Harris was tasked with long-term regional diplomacy.

  21. Impressive-Knot9999 on

Wow they have someone actually in charge of fraud !!

In a bizarrely worded post to Truth Social, Trump wrote that Vance was “now in charge of ‘FRAUD’ in the United States” as he announced the veep’s new role, calling the problem “massive and pervasive.”

  22. Fantastic_Yam_3971 on

The irony of Trump to complain about people committing fraud and stealing tax dollars for their own benefit…

  23. FrancoManiac on

So what happens if he tries to can Vance? Gotta say, despite having studied ConLaw and political science, I’m at a loss as to how he’d attempt it. Asking Vance to resign? Executive Order? „Reassignment“?

Let’s say it does happen and, like everything else, we all just go along with it. Who replaces Vance? Miller? What’s the mechanism to assert a new VP in this scenario?

  24. McKnightmare24 on

JD is only in this for himself, he’s bought to find out like Pence he was a fool that never had a chance

  25. Own_Carob_6393 on

Hey, he has an easy job – all he has to do to find fraud is look at his boss and his bosses cabinet. That should keep him busy for the next couple of years.

  26. peachy_kattie on

The „czar“ title is basically a political death sentence at this point. Harris got hammered with the „border czar“ label even though that was never actually her role, and now Vance gets to be the scapegoat when this obvious political witch hunt inevitably backfires.

  27. Lucky for JD trump just cant fire him, he’s gotta sit there and take it.

  28. IWasOnThe18thHole on

He can’t fire JD. The only way he can be replaced is if something were to happen to him. If I were him I’d be moving into a bunker.

  29. Hayseussforever on

If I were to want someone to be the poster boy for fraud, I would probably not go wrong in putting Trump’s face on the poster. What he has grifted from the American taxpayer probably would be enough to provide health care to the entire population.

  30. JD is smiling because he’s one or two more cabinet firings away from the 25th amendment.  Just gotta get some more picks from Mr. Thiel through the Senate and pretenr it was Trump’s idea.

  31. Sounds like more DOGE nonsense to break the country even more. TF this got to do with Kamala?

  32. OppositeAspect6905 on

„[Trump] claimed, without offering evidence, that the supposed amount of federal funds lost to fraud is “so large” that if Vance’s efforts are successful they would “literally” allow the U.S. to balance its’ budget“

Have we not been through this already with DOGE and BS election lawsuits courts have dismissed. Then the audacity to talk balanced budget when The SAVE act has cut taxes, Bush tax cuts extended, Trump wants $1.5T for the military, and he’s talking about states needing to raise taxes for entitlements. This admin is a farce.

  33. Weird_Yam6398 on

You heard it first here. This administration is going to balance the budget.

  34. WhoFearsDeath on

Vance is the number one reason I hope Trump lives through the end of his term.

    It’s a short list.

  35. FuzzyDynamics on

Trump knows he’s toast. He’s so effective because he’s been the shameless ghoul taking heat for doing every evil impulse the republicans have had for decades. He’s a dead man walking both in health and politically if the midterms aren’t stolen. The best move for the GOP is wait it out, let him take all the heat, then go down in flames with an impeachment while keeping Vance insulated and clean so he can step in with some legitimacy.

Trump isn’t going to let that happen. He’s never going to take the fall for anyone. He will burn them all the ground with him. It’s going to be marvelous watching them eat each other alive once we have a real coalition that can get things moving. They’re fucked and I’m here for it.
