Am 31. März kündigte der US Forest Service Pläne an, seinen Hauptsitz von Washington, DC, nach Salt Lake City, Utah, zu verlegen. Darüber hinaus wird das Unternehmen alle neun Regionalbüros schließen oder umfunktionieren, 15 Landesbüros einrichten und Forschungs- und Entwicklungseinrichtungen in mehr als 30 Bundesstaaten schließen.
Laut einer Pressemitteilung soll der Plan die Agentur „flexibler und effizienter“ machen [and] wirksam.“ Die Leiter des Forstdienstes teilten den Mitarbeitern in einem Anruf nach der Ankündigung mit, dass keine Änderungen an den Brand- und Luftfahrtmanagementprogrammen oder den Einsatzkräften der Feuerwehr vor Ort vorgenommen würden.

This is an ongoing theme with this administration, dismantle, destroy and leave nothing behind that can be restored.
It’s frustrating that every time something like this has come up in this presidency, it was shut down because NOBODY FUCKING WANTS THIS. Then these fucking snakes find a new way to get what they want.
