Submission statement: Reports suggest a US pilot may have been captured by Iranian forces after a fighter jet was shot down over central Iran on Friday, according to Iranian media and statements from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

A correspondent from Tasnim News Agency in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province reported that the pilot ejected after the aircraft was destroyed and landed inside Iranian territory. Initial information indicated that U.S. forces attempted to locate and extract the pilot, but some sources suggested the pilot was likely captured by Iranian military units.

Sources cited by Tasnim said U.S. forces conducted a search operation using Black Hawk helicopters and a Hercules C-130 aircraft in an effort to retrieve the pilot, but the operation was unsuccessful. The same sources claimed that the pilot’s status remains uncertain and that further details would be announced later.

Odd, it was suggested before that Kuwaiti rescue forces extracted them.

This would be huge news. I’m not seeing this reported anywhere else.

Im chalking this up to Iranian propaganda until something more concrete appears, they tried to claim the same thing a month ago..

This was bound to happen IMO.

It may not end well for the pilot, especially since Trump and Netanyahu are at the helm and the regime is facing annihilation.
