This is nowhere near the whole of London though, just vaguely Central London. That curved lake on the left is The Serpentine in Hyde Park and on the right you don’t even go that far into the East End.
So basically there are 1383 pubs in an arbitrary area including Central London.

The same map 100 years ago would probably have three times as many, if not more.

Some worryingly large gaps there!

Central London*
There’s a whole lot more to London than what this map shows.

The more pubs, the more yellow stains, I get the trend.

Where’s the rest of London?

Even here you can tell how comparatively underdeveloped the southern half below the thames is.

Bank holiday weekend – pub crawl, let’s see if we can do all of them. Who’s in?

I raise you: most UK pubs, plus the proven optimal shortest tour to visit them all:
If you done the same map with Greggs in Newcastle, it would look the same.

This is missing loads of pubs. I can count atleast 4 it’s missing just on one street near where I work

I remember when the Queen was lying in state and there was a queue that was miles along someone made a map with all the pubs along the route.

Yeah, that arbitrary central zone is pretty dense, but it really makes you wonder just how many more are missing from the rest of the city. The gaps in coverage are almost as interesting as the clusters.

Can we have one for Newcastle.

We need a pub in Hyde park

A tourist question: are they open all day? Do they also serve tea?
