Poilievre keeps talking like Trump and his cronies want to work with us. They don’t. They want to take advantage of us. And Poilievre seems willing to let them in exchange for political power.
Carney dismantled Poilievre in the election. Carney then followed up by a blitz of trade deal making and prudent (downright conservative) moves to shore up Canada’s economic situation.
Meanwhile, Poilievre couldn’t even win his own riding…
We need to keep in mind that the last election was handed to PP on a silver platter, they were the frontrunners by a country mile. Then Carney moved in like operator and dominated PP. It was a professional vs. a performative actor.
He is preparing an exit strategy, a life after politics. He wants to be in on the broshpere, he wont be. He will be too late.
