    1. Higher gas prices, higher fees that I’m sure will truly be „temporary“, members of the US military dying for literally no reason, birthright citizenship under threat, ICE detainees who have not received due process dying under custody, and so much more that I can’t list because I would actually hit the comment character limit.

Life with Republicans controlling all three branches of the US government sure is grand.

    2. Glad the wonderful Republicans of Georgia decided to temporarily hold our gas tax. Citizens of ga might save a lil at the pump but it’s a fucking massive gift for every corporation that operates on the roads in Georgia.

Shouldn’t Bezos eat this cost since he helped elect the clown that caused this.

It almost feels like this war might be inflationary. Who could imagine that?

    5. Just another way we are all paying more money in taxes under this trump administration.

People seriously need to stop voting for republicans. Sure both sides have issues, but the economy does better under democrats. It’s just a fact! I want to live in a country where everyone does well, not just a few already rich oligarchs. So frustrating!

    7. It’s so weird how companies charge these fuel surcharges when gas spikes up above average, yet we never see a „fuel is cheap“ discount when it drops below average. Fascinating.

Remember: amazon is nothing more than a website that lists items you can also buy elsewhere.

I stopped buying from amazon years ago. Haven’t ever missed them and have gotten everything I need elsewhere flawlessly

    10. Wait.

The same Amazon that contributed financially to the election of Trump?!

      That Jeff Bezos’ Amazon?!

    11. I pay less in gasoline tax to pay for the roads they destroy and don’t pay taxes to help maintain. There is an Amazon warehouse right next to our local roads that are full of potholes. Amazon can fuck right off with their surcharge until they pull their own weight and help pay for our crumbling roads they are contributing in destroying.

Oh fun. I told my blue collar husband who has his own business to start tacking on a TRUMP TAX for his additional diesel prices. We laughed and realized we live in a red state where they would burn us at the stake for that. Hooray!

    13. As they said in South Park “No, tariff fuck you, not me” is basically how I am looking at all corporations. They pass the “losings” onto the consumer/employee and line their pockets just fine OH and the prices? Probs won’t change until they’re forced to and even then thats a maybe.

    14. My firm ships large-ish displays across the US. On March 1, a pallet of displays shipped cross country was $768. We just received a quote from XPO this morning for the exact same weight/route and it was $935 and our rep told us to expect even higher prices next month. Most of our contracts are firm/fixed price (public procurement requirements) and were put in place 90-120 days prior. So we’ll be eating $17-$25k per month for the next 3 months till we can adjust our quotes.

      Are we winning yet?
