Sure would be nice if we had some actual checks and balances on these things. I’m getting really tired of seeing headlines like „civil servant warns that draconian law would be very bad for democracy“ like DoFo cares in any way.
One can only imagine the hair on fire response Ford would have if the judiciary made public pronouncements about flawed legislation that he announces. I’m getting very tired of politicians piling on the judiciary for following the laws that they created in the first place. They know better, but the public eats it up far too easily without any critical thought.
