As of 2026, 7 districts are still affected

    Severely affected: Bijapur, Narayanpur, Sukma

    Moderately affected: Kanker, West Singhbhum

    Marginally affected: Kandhamal, Dantewada

All the other maps on the sub seem to be exaggerating Naxalite presence in Punjab and NE India, so I posted these.

It’s not like the oppression, exploitation and genocide has come to a halt.
People won’t just surrender their lands and lives, resistance can’t be killed.

The movement has been set back, needs new leadership and an ideological refresh.

  3. India’s forth largest city was extremely affected by Naxal violence in 2007?

That maps a bit sus, there have been no naxalites in Hyderabad or any of its districts for at least decades. Have seen and heard of none despite living here all my life.

Why is this more accurate? It doesn’t even have a source mentioned
