      Trump is likely to declare victory and move on from conflict.

      Leaving Gulf states, Israel and oil and gas customers to deal with Iran.

      UAE has been targeted more than Israel in this conflict and is trying to push for more action against Iran.

      UAE wants the US to force open Hormuz, and they’ll provide “support services.”

      The GCC wants Trump to invade Iran, perhaps even more than the Israelis. If Iran emerges *and* has control of the strait *and* has its proxies intact…that would be a disaster for them in particular.

      It’s not just the UAE. It’s also SA, and Kuwait that are reportedly actively pushing to do wha it takes, and are considering getting directly involved.

      Trump is saying the U.S. is looking to get out in a week or two, so I fully expect a large ground invasion in < 14 days.

      Maybe the US can airlift the GCC and Israeli ground forces in to do the dirty work considering they’re so eager.

      The Gulf state has also said the U.S. should occupy islands in the strategic waterway including Abu Musa, which has been held by Iran for a half-century and is claimed by the U.A.E., some of the Arab officials said.

      Hmmm …. how convenient. We are mercenaries now? So when will we invade and take back those islands in South China Sea that are under Chinese control but claimed by everyone else? Or those islands in Japan’s Northern Territory but now under Russian control?
