      Donald Trump told Britain on Tuesday to “get your own oil” as he urged America’s allies to reopen the Strait of Hormuz themselves.

      Singling out the UK, the US president rebuked countries for refusing to “get involved” in the American-Israeli war against Iran, suggesting they learn “how to fight”.

      Nato partners have been reluctant to help reopen the critical waterway, through which 20 per cent of the world’s oil typically travels. Tehran has effectively shut down the strait for weeks, sending global oil and gas prices spiralling.

      Looks like some grade A foreign policy right here. This ladies and gentlemen is how you treat your allies that you didn’t consult before starting a war. Has anyone else had worse foreign policy since WW2?

      Going to war without the two time world war winner and most successful military nation in history on your side is always a bad idea. America could have benefited from British strategy and military capabilities

    6. Might be easy to get. Can stop providing support to the US and see if Iran lets the tankers through.

      Would be funny to see that theory tested.
