I would expect that being declared persona non grata would remove diplomatic immunity since they are no longer recognized as a legitimate representative. So I would expect him to be arrested if he leaves the embassy for any reason.
Refusing to leave after being kicked out is a problematic move on Irans part. If he continues to stay in the embassy, but refuses to leave the country, Lebanon would be justified in ejecting the whole diplomatic mission and shutting down the embassy.

Lebanon is not really a country anymore… they can’t enforce sovereignty over anything. Not Hezbollah not Iran not Israel. Nothing.
Not sure what’s their future is going to be

Imagine if Israel did this? It’d be front page news everywhere.

Now you see who’s really running the show, a whole country reduced to a lapdog.

I don’t understand the point of this stunt. Is it an ego thing? Does he have a Lebanese mistress he doesn’t want to leave?

Well he can’t leave the embassy now or he’ll be arrested, and they can’t force him out of there..
I guess the only reasonable path of action would be for Israel bomb the Embassy and solve it for everyone? /s

Nobody takes the Lebanese national government serious anymore. They are all posture, and actually end up doing *nothing*. Failed state. No wonder the iranian ambassador stays, contrary to their wishes. They earn zero respect.
