Nach den jüngsten ukrainischen Angriffen auf die Häfen Ust-Luga und Primorsk scheinen mehrere Schiffe, die vermutlich Teil der russischen Schattenflotte sind, im Finnischen Meerbusen zu liegen. Trackingdaten zeigen, dass sich eine Gruppe von Schiffen ungewöhnlich nahe an der Nordküste Estlands aufhält. Dies gibt Anlass zur Sorge hinsichtlich einer möglichen Bedrohung für die Umwelt.

There is probably more stuck because anchorage area between Kunda and Loksa can accommodate a maximum of around 40 vessels, meaning the area is currently close to its capacity limit.
Even if the ports are patched they will probably only be able to handle a fraction of what they could before. Primorsk specifically has lost the majority of its tanks so even if pumping resumes it likley will need to reduce the number of tankers it can service

I often check AIS, they linger there in those numbers most of the time. Nothing out of the ordinary, probably only a couple extra boats but there’s always a clump there.
Never idle, they will be dragging their anchors through any undersea cables, just to keep their hand in.
