    1. Very tragic, right after Avi Lewis won the leadership race. I wonder if it is true that you can yourself to survive for an important event and after that event, you die.

      He held on just long enough to see his son win and become NDP leader. Wholesome. A life very well lived. RIP.

    3. The timing makes it more tragic. But is very sad regardless. He did good work on AIDS/HIV.

      A profound loss. I can only imagine the emotional weight and pressure it must have been for Lewis to run for leader under these circumstances. RIP.

    6. Sad to see him pass away especially right after Avi won the leadership. 

      He was a good person through and through I know even his rivals like Bill Davis and John Robarts both liked and respected massively. He was one of the more impactful ONDP leaders outside of Rae and forced Davis to compromise on a lot of policy which benefited Ontario.
