Please keep attacking. Our politicians in the US are all spineless and nobody with a brain listens to a single fucking one of them.
If Russians don’t target ours we won’t target theirs is a bad bargain for Ukraine.
It should be, if you don’t want us to strike Russian energy, provide us with same incremental financial support as the incremental profit that Russia will receive from being allowed to safely export energy, so we are not relatively disadvantaged.
This is like asking Ukraine to just give up. Attacking Russian oil and gas revenue is literally the only thing that is going to end the war, unless the allies step up in a major and unprecedented way (they won’t)

It would be interesting to know which countries Zelensky was referring to. I can only imagine that this request came from the United States, or perhaps from Hungary and Slovakia. I can’t imagine that this request came from countries like Germany, France, or the UK. Here in Europe, we know full well that Putin will only stop when Russia’s economy is on the brink of collapse, To achieve that, we must make it as difficult as possible for them to export oil and gas.

It is really easy for Ukraine to stop attacking Russian oil infrastructure. They are literally only asking for one, extremely reasonable thing in return. Russia not killing Ukrainians. Is that still happening? Yes? Well then, speak to Russia and see what can be done to stop blowing up their oil.

Oil is the only thing saving Russia from an economic implosion at this moment. It’s the final straw. Further attacks on this should absolutely be encouraged to bring a swifter end to the conflict and get Russia to fuck off.
