      So, it sounds like you are supposed to report income while on this benefit, which he did, and they never adjusted the pay. So how is he supposed to know? They tell you to report it, and he did. Then they paid him the same, I’m guessing his assumption was the other income didn’t matter enough to reduce payment. I think it’s pretty fair to make the assumption that they’re doing their job. „You’re financially responsible to do our job for us“. How about no? How about you do your job?

      But, in my opinion, all this is moot- because how is CPP considered income? It’s your money! It’s money you already gave to the government your entire life, how is it possibly considered income? At the very most, charge me on the capital gains it made while they invested it.
