Auch die halbe Stadt ist inzwischen mit braunen Erdflecken gefüllt, viele davon in Form von Gebäuden, die früher dort standen. Sie haben einen Großteil der Trümmer entfernt, entweder um die Zerstörung vor Satellitenbildern zu verbergen oder um an ihrer Stelle neue Gebäude zu bauen, und schon gar nicht für die Menschen, die früher dort lebten. These brown patches look even more depressing than ruins.
I’m not surprised that Russia would heavily invest money for reconstruction in an area they bombed and invaded as a form of propaganda. Never mind that there are probably areas in mainland Russia that desperately need that money for development, but likewise, propaganda comes first before Russia’s people.
