SS: US can only determine with certainty that it has destroyed about a third of Iran’s vast missile arsenal.
The status of around another third is less clear but bombings likely damaged, destroyed or buried those missiles in underground tunnels and bunkers. The intelligence was similar for Iran’s drone capability, saying there was some degree of certainty about a third having been destroyed.
Those were destroyed by smashing into American and Israeli assets, right?

Just like last year’s attack obliterated the Iranian nuclear program. Anything reported out of the Whitehouse and DoD is unreliable.
“With certainty” has many interpretations because everything reported by this administration requires a calculation to determine a message’s political expediency.
We were also told with certainty that Iran’s nuclear program was completely destroyed, before this war started.
In reality it is more impotent to destroy mobile launchers then missiles itself. Missiles is on underground storage some of which about impossible to get without nooks. But launchers need to go outside. It is estimated like 60-70% those destroyed and some locked in underground tunnels with destroyed entrances.
Im guessing that not counting the probably large proportion already fired last two years
Bessent: Reuters, this is horrible framing. Is it better to have 1/3 of a pie taken from our adversaries or leave them with the entire pie which was going to Russia anyway?
Words like certainty and confirmed are rarely tossed around in intelligence lingo, so I’m inclined to believe this article. It’s a far cry from 80-90% like the Trump admin was quoting, but I trust our intelligence apparatus far more than the admin needless to say.
