      This is going to be Viet Nam bad.

      Iran is 4x times the size of Iraq with more mountains and a military with bombs that has been preparing for war with America and Israel for decades.

      Insane number, but also a fraction of what would be needed for a ground invasion. Seems like an invasion of Kharg island, leading to a costly occupation while more troops die because more are in harms way, pushing the US closer and closer to an invasion of the main land.
