You will never convince me this wasn’t a hit job ordered against her by Trump/this administration for her coverage.

My heart has always hurt for the families of people who go missing. When someone dies it is awful, but it’s is known and final. They are usually allowed time to grieve, then integrate back into “normal life” and usually given some grace while adjusting.

When someone goes missing- how much “grace” are they given? There is no closure, no finality- at what point do bosses say “You need to come back to work” ? How can they be expected to go back to their lives, when they are metaphorically still bleeding from an open wound? Even though Mrs. Guthrie is almost certainly dead, they do not KNOW. How fucking awful.

I feel bad saying this but, I think they need ground penetrating radar. The kind they used to map the ancient cities of equator and Angkor Wat. I don’t know why it’s not used more often in investigations tbh
