  1. Translation: „I have also done some gross shit and don’t want to get in trouble“.

    What an idiot.

Pretty sure that’s why the phrase justice is blind exists. „Great“ people aren’t convicted of crimes where they’re absolutely guilty.

Diddy was Usher’s first mentor, taking him under his wing at the age of 13, and Diddy co-executive produced his album.

I’m not making any commentary on what Usher or Diddy may or may not have done, but Usher has known Diddy his entire professional life, which might give context on his perception of the man. In many ways Diddy is likely a father figure to him.

  4. Yikes, now it’s obvious why him and Bieber had an altercation at the Oscars party

  5. Maybe Stockholm syndrome, rumors are Diddy was inappropriate with Usher and Biebs

Oh, Usher is in that abuse sunken place. Clearly he too is a victim if you tracked his career as a fellow teen star handed over to Diddy and others.

BUT, at his big age, he should know better than this so no excuses for caping for Diddy.

Yikes… he could have kept his comments to himself… greatness but we watched him drag cassie on camera?

  8. I wonder what Diddy’s got on Usher. The phrase “not recognized for the greatness they offer” seems like a very Diddy phrase.

  9. „Greatness“ lol. Ya, Usher, you just stick with that and we’ll all be fine out here.

  10. “Great” people can commit crimes too. Everyone should be held accountable equally under the law. Just because you are “great” or rich doesn’t mean the law doesn’t apply to you. I hope society last long enough to realize this someday.

Ew. Bro, we all watched the documentary. We saw him drag Cassie in the hotel security cam. What specifically was misrepresented??

  12. In all honesty, what „greatness“ did Diddy offer the world other than baby oil memes?

So this comment leads me to believe that usher and Justin got into it because usher was trying to convince JB to say that diddy never did anything to him, but JB wants to stay out of it. Obviously all speculation, but if usher is saying stuff like this 🤷🏿‍♀️

People can have flaws sure but Diddy is a criminal. He has been for a long time, remember when he shot someone at the club in the 90s?

I think Usher just doesn’t want us to stop playing Need a girl and I don’t know. There are more important things than Diddy’s music. I wish he would stand up for the victims, for Cassie, but it is clear he cares more about business and the entertainment industry. I bet he’s also feeling sorry for Diddy because he had allegations in the past himself – not as many and intense as Diddy but still.

This is how every abusive POS with too much power at every level speaks. “They’re free to go at any time.”, “No one is holding them against their will.”, “They should be grateful for the opportunity.”

  16. VapidRapidRabbit on

Imagine opening your mouth to say stupid shit when you can just shut up…

  17. I think you meant to say, “If you’re talented, you should be allowed to be a criminal.” That’s a bit clearer.

  18. Neither_Transition_7 on

Not saying anything about Usher’s integrity bc I don’t know- but let’s also remember Diddy filmed ppl in compromising situations and still has outside contacts/press access.

Like, um……was Usher just really being so got damn serious while trying to say, uh, „good things“ about Diddy following his most recent sex trafficking trial? Well, of course we will just never ever ever know. But the only thing that we DO know here is that Usher was just really WAAAAAAAY right outta pocket for making attempts to defend the now-embattled rapper and mogul. Ohhhhh, he just sure as motherfucking hell has a whole lotta damage control to attend to right about now.

  20. Wasn’t Usher involved in a sexual assault too? Or he got sued for giving someone an STD.

Birds of a feather flock together.

  21. Jealous_Acorn on

Wow, it was certainly a choice to take this stance on Diddy in the year 2026.

  22. impl0sionatic on

The psychology of his willingness to make a fool out of himself in public for that man’s benefit is probably *fascinating*.

If all the chatter about Justin Bieber having real conflict with Usher lately is legit, then it’s gotta be about this topic broadly. Uncommon Bieber W for sure.

  23. Altruistic-Chain3662 on

Interesting he would come out with this after the “altercation” with him and JB

  24. SimthingEvilLurks on

Sounds like they should look into Usher’s activities to see what he’s hiding. There is no way to misrepresent an abusive asshole.

  25. We all saw the video of Diddy beating Cassie. We all heard the stories from the victims.

  26. Damn, incredibly disappointing. Goes completely against the way he represents himself…

  27. DesiredNameWasTaken on

Every once in a while I catch myself wanting to watch Usher dancing in the rain during the guitar solo of the U Got it Bad music video.

    That ends today.

  28. SonofTreehorn on

What a dumb ass.  He’s on video beating the fuck out of his girlfriend. This single act should mean you are done to most people. I guess Usher believes that talent overshadows domestic abuse.

  29. What the hell does this even mean? He may have been highly influential and considered one of the best producers in hip-hop, but it doesn’t mean he’s not a disgusting human being.

He was recognized, for years, for his influence in the industry anyway. Now he’s being held accountable for his actions, y’know, cause he literally committed sex crimes?

Go away, with your shit take, Usher.
