      this kind of stuff always feels so far away until you actually sit and look at it 😭 like it’s easy to scroll past headlines but then you see images like this and it suddenly feels way more real… it’s honestly a lot to process 💀

      I think the photo shows the lower half of this area on fire. I count 7 points where tankers can be docked to receive oil, so would be interesting to see how many are left. There’s info floating around, supposedly from chats between Novatek workers that 2 tankers (ships) were on fire and 3 storage tanks, and that the entire Novatek terminal is basically gone. But definitely need to wait for verification and new satellite photos. *rubs hands excitedly*
