  1. SEC is compromised. This is what winning looks like in America.

    Edit: spelling

Within the next month you’ll see a photo from the Oval Office with a laptop in the background open to the Kalashi site.

  3. No, no, Nancy Pelosi is the only one doing insider trading. Don’t even bother looking into anyone else.

When the timing is that perfect, the „scramble“ feels less like PR and more like cleanup.

Polymarket is a cyberpunk nightmare. Which is just an evolution of the diesel punk nightmare we already have had for the last 70 years.

The criminal level of this administration is astounding. I have zero faith in the recovery of properly functioning government anytime soon.

Edit: not to be alarmist but it seems like they are driving the country to one of a few outcomes.
    1. Civil war
    2. Complete economic collapse
    3. Total authoritarian regime like North Korea

Trump looks like a blob. I don’t know why his voters are so in love with one of the ugliest men that have ever walked this earth.

  8. It;s crazy how many things Donald Trump should be impeached removed and prosecuted over this go around.

  9. Lemp_Triscuit11 on

No they aren’t lol. They run the courts and their mouthbreathing voters don’t care.

  10. Who thought legalized gambling over easily manipulated current events was a good idea? It is basically a rigged casino

  11. They’re not scrambling to do shit.

None of these people get held accountable. Just like none of the members of the house or Senate do.

It’s a perk of the job and absolutely no one has any intention of doing anything about it.

B-b-b-but Joe Biden’s son worked for a foreign company when Joe Biden w-w-w-w-wasn’t president!!!

Just another day in the Trump White House. Trumpers think he’s „smart“ for cheating, lying and manipulating. They see that as genius and as perfectly acceptable morally and ethically.

    A basket of deplorables.

  14. shagadelicrelic on

They’ve been doing a pretty good job of downplaying the fact that the president is in the Epstein files 50k + times, I’m pretty sure they’ll be able to sweep this under the rug too….
I hate how this person can just keep committing crime after crime and nothing happens, congress doesn’t care

The only thing that’s shocking is how little they care about people seeing the blatant corruption.

That’s the one thing about Trump that’s different from past administrations: The corruption is right out in the open and they don’t give a fuck about who sees them being crooks. They know they’re in no real danger of any consequences because the highest levels of federal law enforcement is in on the scams with them.

This is what it looks like when The Mafia takes over the government and the cops. They’re just not afraid of being caught anymore.

This will just be another ‚we investigated ourselves and found we did nothing wrong‘. Then the media forgets and we move on to the next corrupt thing they do which should resort to them doing prison time, but they never do.

    Endless cycle of bullshit

One time might be a coincidence.

But this is now at least three times. Before Venezuela invasion. Before Iran bombing. And now before Trump lied about peace talks.

    That’s not a coincidence.

The White House is openly involved in insider trading and market manipulation.

  18. MAGA complained about Hunter Biden and 250k. But Trump and his mob have made 10 of billions. Trump is trying to get 5 Trillion from the Middle East. lol

  19. Robofetus-5000 on

Somehow they figured out a way to make needless wars and killing people even more despicable.

  20. huxtiblejones on

Sweeping this level of corruption under the rug is Fall of Rome type shit. America need to rein these people in and establish an actual rule of law or we will crumble.

  21. True_Dog_4098 on

How much of the deficit has gone into the pockets of the Trump regime?

  22. tphillips1990 on

I keep waiting for the day when the right people step in to put a stop to all of this.

That day isn’t coming. Those people aren’t in place any longer. The government has become fully compromised by a crime syndicate.

  23. That’s what happens when you elect a man who is associated with members of the Russian Mafia; not to mention underage sex trafficking and murder.

  24. jackalope503 on

Why bother? Who’s going to prosecute them? Don’t get me wrong these corrupt fucks deserve to be buried underneath the jail but our criminal justice system has shown time and again that there aren’t any real consequences coming for these people

  25. Antknee2099 on

Sorry Dailybeast headline, I don’t buy they are „Scrambling“. That makes it sound like they care that everyone easily see the illegality on display. And I was under the impression that market manipulation has been recognized since this bag of moldy oranges took the chair again last year- the tariff announcement up and down was clearly being used to manipulate the stock market.

  26. Ok-Abbreviations543 on

This exact thing has happened many times already. The other really obvious one was the Donvict’s announcement about delaying tariffs this time last year.

Look. They got rid of the real inspectors general. They have scumbags running DoJ and FBI. They have no personal ethics and have been fraudsters and thieves going back well before they took power.

It’s an orgy of corruption. Republicans simply applaud.

Nothing will happen unless and until Republicans are removed from power.

  27. fallendomii on

He’s done this multiple times in the past year and tons of people have called them out on it, but once again nothing ever happens…

  28. AlludedNuance on

Why do they even bother to scramble? Do they still feel like there is any watchdog that could possibly take them down at this point?
