      It looks very much like a case of putting a brave face on a bad situation. The way Trump says it makes it sound like the US is actually ready to negotiate, otherwise he wouldn’t be making such statements

      If something about this war comes from Trump’s mouth it is a lie.

      If you see a news report that says Iran call for peace talks from an Iranian news source then there might be some truth.
