      It’s an adaptation of a book.

      So original in the sense that no one else has adapted this book before, sure.

      Had 20 meetings on a script based on IP. Every single company claimed they were open to original ideas, but could not name one that they had in development.

      I think looking to Hollywood for originality has been dead for a while. It could be reanimated, like Frankenstein. Of course that isn’t very original.
