Now you have it. Irrefutable evidence. Obama, the old grifter, is destroying America.

  2. Are the values in today’s equivalent dollars, or did LBJ increase his wealth by $80-million back then (which would be the equivalent of $840-million today)?

  3. This is completely useless if not adjusted for inflation.

Yes it probably doesn’t change the story, but a 1M gain in FDR’s first presidency would equal something like 23M today for example…

My apologies for not including this in the original post. All dollar amounts adjusted for inflation to current 2026 values.

  5. how was his paper loss confirmed? and what portion of the positive swing this term are those same assets appreciating back to market?

  6. Yeah well he can’t take it with him, and he’s getting closer and closer to that day with every wheeze.

  7. What about percent growth? Did we have any billionaire presidents (adjusted to today’s dollar) before Trump?

The gains from this term do not surprise me, he has been blatantly using his power and brand for profit. But I’m actually more surprised by the scale of his losses in 2016.

  9. To say that Trump’s net worth went down by $1.2bn during his first term is kind of preposterous.

His net worth is extremely opaque, he paid a ton of attention to his Forbes listing, and at the time it was politically convenient for him to make a claim like that. There is no reason at all to believe that it’s true.
