    1. ‘Land of the free’ realllllllly has a lot of rules denying people a choice.

But, “save the children” will always be your downfall to surrendering so called rights and freedoms

    2. Wonder how this effects ISPs that give out modem/router combos? LOTS of people use them.

Let’s make a deal. These out of touch, octogenarian, pedophile enthusiasts can ban any piece of tech that they want…if they can point to it on a picture. I’ll even allow 3 of the 4 images to be wood routers.

I am not aloud to voice my opinion i’ll get a ban. so i ‚ll just say wait just wait until the mid terms

How convenient that Intel makes wireless products considering Trump invested in Intel.

If Intel suddenly announces they’re producing routers we’ll know they got…intel from the white house

    6. haha. we are going back to the stone age… are there any routers made in the US?

“In an unpleasant surprise “ basically begins anything this administration does.

    8. Is this just wifi routers? The article isn’t clear on that but seems to imply wifi routers specifically. You can still get a wired router and use APs, can’t you? Did they add foreign made access points to the list?

    9. Get the new TRUMP routers! Gold plated, with eagle figures on each side, and an engraving of the greatest president in American history! Buy your blazing fast* TRUMP routers today! 100% made in the USA*

      *actual speed 56kb/s

*assembled in the USA with parts from Gy-na

    10. Just some more market manipulation by the people’s president. Either that or he’s trying to get control of the firmware of these companies so they can add a national firewall

Not sure it matters, given the ID laws are gonna fuck up the internet so bad that I’ll have to go back to analog everything

I’ll just go out and get a Dugen-Edwards router to go with my DVD/VCR combo. Easy Peasy American made-easy! /s

    13. I sell IT equipment for a living. I’m not even sure Cisco has any parts made in North America…

The DonnieRouter’s PCB will come with an Intel 1984 chipset (codename Orwell) that will be mandatory in all homes, Unlike the V chip, it will work in reverse and block content for you.

Not sure if this will apply to access points, but I made sure to order the TP-Link outdoor AP I was wanting for my back yard this summer.

Anything domestically produced is going to be backdoored before it leaves the factory.

Shit like this is what drives me to avoid anything “American”. Nearly everything has foreign made components. Made in America has no value as a selling point. Where is the betting pool on how much Chump coin this will cost to make go away.

To be followed by government issues Trump router, ready for full surveillance, where are all the pure bloods screaming about government tyranny?

    19. PM_COFFEE_TO_ME on

Uhh what about DIY routers from regular computers? These people in government are clueless about today’s technology.

    20. EggplantKey5266 on

Government has now gone more than far far enough. This government doesn’t trust any government other than their own government, and in their own government there’s a conspiracy, so who do they trust a very, very tight circle and that’s it and guess what you and I and the public or not in the fucking circle.

So us companies bribed politicians to block competition so they can price gouge everyone. Nice

    22. Disappointed in the FCC. They’re supposed to be regulators. Non lil bitches.
