Not out of the realm of possibility but I suspect we are at least six months away from this happening.

Here’s my prediction for the prerequisites:

1. Iran thing continues through August

2. Full blown recession (see #1)

I suspect there will be more serious talk about this closer to September if things are still fully fucked by then. Would be a smart Hail Mary type move to avoid an absolute blowout in the midterms. *it might not work*, but it would be probably one of the only things they could do to credibly claim a reset with their base.
