      The real gem is at the end of the article: they’re going to try to fix it using AI. I can’t wait for a confidently incorrect AI agent to hallucinate my pay rate starting in 2031. This is going to be a disaster.

      It’s crazy to me that software to track and process hours worked and pay people correctly could cost 2.5 billion, let alone 4. This feels like the kind of thing that could be vibe coded in a weekend.
