I actually fucking hate this. All of it. I just finished working all weekend and left work thinking that it might be the last time I work at all. A weekend spent barely seeing friends or family, what if this will be it and I wasted that time?

I’m from Scotland so maybe I’m just being overly anxious, but I don’t see an off ramp for this situation and it’s just getting worse. It’s terrifying. I don’t want to die man, I want to live. I want my family, my little nieces, my friends, I want to see them all have a future. I just want to make a bit of money to enjoy the time I have pursuing my interests, being with those close to me and not have to worry about all this shit.

But instead this might escalate to nuclear war this week. And if it doesn’t, the economic impact is gonna cripple most people’s standard of living around the globe if it continues. And even if we all manage to get through that and stave it off, we have headlines like this of the looming climate threat to contend with. And even if myself and those around me escape all that somehow, millions and maybe even billions of others won’t. Even if one bad thing doesn’t happen, there’s loads more we’ve set up in the not so distant future. The world’s such a fucking mess, I’m scared, and I wish it was all just different. How are any of us meant to live a fulfilling life like this? The only ones who seem to get a chance at that are the evil pedophile cunts who deny the rest of us any sort of opportunity to enjoy anything.

I’d like to read an explainer about the oil rain that came down on the citizens of Tehran after they blew up their refinery. Those folks need health assistance ASAP.
