      It’s hard to know for sure in this case but people should understand that if they see a missile in the sky and it’s seemingly not moving, it means the missile is going straight toward you.

      Now I think I see that these are decoy flares AND submunitions. IOW, If submunitions are the intended purpose, why are they powered? (I say they are powered based on visual appearance and the fact that they are ahead of the missile, which is still under thrust.) If being a decoy was the purpose, why not put an explosive and fuse in it for good measure?
