Iran literally showed what they are capable of. With a single very constrained retaliation, hit a LNG processing facility in Qatar, with a single drone, and took out 3.5% of the world’s LNG processing capability. And you can’t just replace this kind of equipment.
They have proved that they are able to take out the whole thing, which would be 20% of the worlds capability. The Iranian regime won’t necessarily when this war, but they have a fuck ton of ways to leave the global economy in shambles on their way out.
This war has crossed a threshold which is incredibly dangerous and further escalation will have catastrophic consequences.
If this doesn’t stop now, it will likely create a proper global catastrophe that will lead to a real world war.

So Iran bombs Israel and Gulf State electric grids, translated we are going to bomb the gulf back into the stone age so China, India, Turkey can get fuel from region, cripple peer competitors rely upon US domestic oil supply. Won’t work. US big oil ain’t going to be selling US oil domestically for 20% less than they get selling overseas.
