      „I lived a very sad situation with my family earlier.

      My wife is in São Paulo for Lollapalooza Brazil. This morning, my daughter woke up extremelly excited, she even made a sign because she was so happy to see an artist that she admires, or admired, greatly. Chappel Roan.

      By coincidence, they are staying in the same hotel as this artist. During breakfast, the artist passed by their table. My daughter, like any child, recognized her and was excited, and wanted to make sure that it was her.

      And do you know what’s worse, she didn’t even approached the artist. She simply walked past the singer’s table, looked at her to confirm it was her, smiled and returned to the table with her mother. She didn’t said anything, nor did she asked for anything.

      What happened afterwards was completely disproportionate. A big security man went to their table while they were having breakfast and started to speak in an extremelly agressive manner to my wife and daughter, saying that she shouldn’t allow my daughter to „disrespect“ ou „harass“ other people.

      Sincerely, I don’t know how walking past a table and looking at someone can be considered harassment. Then, he said he would file a complaint against them in the hotel, while my 11 year old daughter cried in the table. My daughter was very scared and cried a lot.

      I have lived for many years with football, with exposure, with famous people, and I know very well what is respect and limit. What happened there wasn’t it. It was merely a child admiring someone. It’s sad to see this kind of treatment coming from someone who should understand the worth that fans have. In the end, they are the ones who build everything.

      I sincerely hope that this serves as a reflection. No one should have to experience this, let alone a child.

      Chappel Roan, without yours fans you wouldn’t be anyone. And to her fans, she doesn’t deserve your love.“

      She’s known for these outburts. It was always going to happen that she picked on the wrong person. Unfortunately it just happens to be the step-kid of one of the greatest modern day players that plays the world’s most popular sport for one of the world’s most popular teams, in one of the most fiercely nationalist countries on the planet. Oh and the kid’s biological dad is Jude Law. This one probably won’t just blow over easily. Maybe she should’ve put on a helmet like Daft Punk if she didn’t want all this attention.

      I’ve said it over and over again, if you hate being famous so much – Stop doing the things that perpetuate it!

      Then I’m usually met with, “but it’s her art! She’s love to write and perform music! It’s not her fault that so many ppl love what she makes!”

      Trust me. There’s hundreds if not THOUSANDS of ways to keep making art and not be famous. Ask every comedian at an open mic, every artist at your local craft fair, every rapper or musician on SoundCloud, every filmmaker on YouTube.

      There’s arguably more outlets for your art without fame attached than there are with it. So knock it off, Chappell. If fame is such a fucking prison, leave. You have the fucking keys.

      Idk much about this entertainer/singer but every headline, and article that I’ve come across in relation to her, typically portray her being a douche or just being a very entitled and unpleasant person. Never meet your idols kids, you’re most likely be disappointed.

      Really wished that we as a society, stopped making nasty people famous. Also idiots, we have too many idiots at the top of the entertainment pyramid.

      You know how there are some celebs that have just had so many seperate unpleasant public “incidents” where the “public” just auto deems them a “asshole”/not a good person by now. Like shia labeouf and Justin Bieber. Chappelle roan has definitely racked up just as many as those guys by now lol.

      This dude won the Euro and the CL the same season and was a core contributor on both teams and finished 3rd for the ballon d’or (for any fellow Americans who don’t follow soccer he is very famous)

      Stop being fooled by the social media posts you like or how she only yells at “bad” people.

      You can hate paparazzi if you want, but what she did a few weeks ago was a window into her actual personality.

      Humans by nature are flawed and thus we cannot behave differently around one group of people than we do another for too long.

      So she can take cute selfies with Charli XCX all she wants, in the end the true bitter person is going to come out.

      We’ve seen this multiple times. Flipping out over interviews and political positions, whining about her record label.

      Every single thing about this person is fake anyway. Most things about celebrities are.

      In all honesty I had never heard of her until I read this, however based on this she does seem like a completely miserable person who doesn’t realize that any „stardom“ that she has is a direct result of fans like Jorginho’s daughter who bother to pay attention to her

She talks about how she doesn’t have time to be informed on politics and the happenings of the world as if the rest of us aren’t equally as busy. She’s an entitled brat.       It is a shame that this young girl experienced this. The security guard did not handle it well in the least, and any complaints should be in their direction, not against the child.

      I’d be interested to hear Chappell’s side of the story, but I can’t imagine the girl deserved to be humiliated like that. The singer may need to learn a lesson about being more personable with fans sometimes.

      Not clear from this that Roan initiated the security response, which was horrible. Or even that it was her security and not the hotel’s. But she needs to be on top of it.

      Nothing I’ve seen about her is positive. She seems like an insolent little shit. And we live just a few miles from where she grew up, so she’s known around here.
