I always find visuals like this, that don’t count the EU, kind of weird.

Sure, it’s not a full federal state, but sort of an in between maybe confederal entity. But trade is where we’re the most unified, the EU is a single market. Even on ‚foreign policy‘ that relates to economics, the rest of the world primarily talks to and negotiates with the EU, not individual member states.

So it’s worth at least a mention in this context. EU collectively is at $22.5T nominally, and $30.2T (PPP).
